Strong schools and responsible spending are not competing priorities. They go hand in hand.

I have:

• Served as a small business owner and participated in budgeting, financial planning, inventory management, and operational decision making.
• Worked in both the public and private sectors, giving me firsthand experience with how organizations allocate resources and manage expenses.
• Reviewed school district budgets, financial reports, public records, and expenditures to better understand how taxpayer dollars are being used.
• Advocated for transparency and accountability in government spending and decision making.
• Worked to better understand the relationship between educational funding, taxpayer burdens, and student outcomes.
• Approached financial decisions throughout my career with the understanding that resources are limited and priorities matter.
